Kubes Steel fabricated a series of draft tube liners (also known as penstocks) for the Cannelton Hydroelectric project located on the Ohio River. Each assembled section is 30 feet in diameter and 60 feet long. When completed, water from the Ohio River will be directed through the penstocks to the turbines, which will turn generators and produce approximately 88 Megawatts of electricity. The…
