Kubes Steel fabricated this custom part, called a ‘Lower Fixed Cone’ for our customer in the manufacturing industry. This project required several disciplines including plate rolling, brake press, welding, machining and final surface passivation of the stainless steel.
At Kubes Steel, induction bending is one of our specialties. Our skilled operator performed the induction bending service on these thick stainless steel pipe sections. Due to the thickness, careful preparation had to be taken to ensure a proper bend without damaging the pieces.
Kubes Steel was a contractor for the curved feature for the new U.S. Embassy in London, UK. The aluminum used was extruded, cast or fabricated. The head mounts on the roof that the structure hangs from are carbon steel rolled on Kubes Steel’s Roundo R13 and also bent on the Kubes Induction Bender. All fasteners…
For this public art installation project, Kubes Steel supplied stainless steel rolled pipe/tube and workshop space at our Burlington Street Shop in Hamilton, Ontario. The completed public art installation was named Wisdom, and is on permanent display at A Place of Many Grasses.

Kubes Steel made all of the stainless steel top rails for the walkways on top of the Newtown Creek Digesters located in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint community . The digesters are the largest of 14 waste water treatment plants in New York City, New York, and an amazing example of functional architecture.
