2025.03.10 – Amusement Park Support Columns

Kubes Steel was recently entrusted with the fabrication contract for the interlocking structural tube sections supporting a new record breaking roller coaster installation at a local amusement park. This project features intricate and precise coping of 1″ thick sections of steel tube of up to 24″ diameter that has to fit precisely together with multiple other sections during install. The coping and welding required particular attention to detail due to the intended use and the load that will be placed on the finished structure.
