2023.08.30 – Returning Customer Reorders Custom Fume Hood Complete With Inconel Overlay

We take pride in our work and in delivering value to our customers. In the summer of 2021, Kubes Steel engaged with a major steel producer in the Hamilton area of Southern Ontario to custom fabricate a fume hood for one of their production lines. The job was successfully completed and delivered at the end of that year. Our satisfied customer returned the following year and in late 2022 we started fabrication on a 2nd fume hood for them. This complex multi-segment job required custom fabricating the hood frame, custom bending hundreds of pipe sections and welding them into the hood before overlaying all of them with Inconel. The finished assembly includes the mounting points and support sections for a drop-in install on site.
