Steel Projects:
Fabrication of the top of a 930 ft. elevator shaft reline (92 shells x 14’ – 6’’ dia. x 10 ft. long.) Starting from the bottom the shells are more heavily constructed and as we get nearer the surface the shell thickness lessens as do the number of external stiffener rings. The average weight per shell…

Kubes Steel was a contractor for the curved feature for the new U.S. Embassy in London, UK. The aluminum used was extruded, cast or fabricated. The head mounts on the roof that the structure hangs from are carbon steel rolled on Kubes Steel’s Roundo R13 and also bent on the Kubes Induction Bender. All fasteners…
Kubes Steel fabricated a pair (2) of support girders to be installed at the 8th floor of the Moise SAFRA Community Centre in New York, New York. They measure approximately 57 feet long and weigh around 45,000 lbs each. They are used to support intermediate concrete columns to increase the usable span inside the building.
Kubes Steel did custom fabrication and rolling and bending for the Phoenix AZ LRT extension stations.
A large, long section of tube for a pipeline gets bent using the induction bending method at the Kubes Steel rolling and bending shop.
A structural steel beam gets bent by the induction bender at Kubes Steel’s rolling and bending shop.
A long section of HSS (Hollow Structural Steel) gets bent on the Kubes Steel induction bender to a tight radius.
