2023.10.30 – Rabbit Sculpture Installation Completed

Inges Idee is a renowned collective of 4 artists: Hans Hemmert, Axel Lieber, Thomas A. Schmidt and Georg Zey, based in Berlin, Germany. Since the collective was founded in 1992 they work together exclusively in the field of art in public space. At the same time all of the four follow their individual practice as artists.

They designed this captivating public art installation in the suburbs of Toronto – a larger-than-life rabbit sculpture. Blending the natural form of a rabbit with an urban roadway design, this remarkable custom steel sculpture was completed with the custom fabrication services of Kubes Steel, a leading name in the steel fabrication industry. Kubes Steel employed cutting-edge fabrication techniques to create the elegant curves of this rabbit sculpture. From the initial structural framework to the intricate details of the rabbit’s form, our skilled craftsmen demonstrated their skill and dedication throughout the fabrication process.
