2016.10.21 – Shell #92

This large custom fabricated shell being rigged onto the Empire transport truck is the last shell (# 92) from Phase 1 of the Elevator Shaft Reline project.  Once it left Kubes Steel’s shop on Burlington street the fabricated shell headed out to the paint shop.  The shell has dimensions of 14′ – 6″ diameter x 10 feet long, with a weight in excess of 46,000 lbs.
