Technology
The technology used by Kubes to roll, form and bend metal is among the most advanced of its’ kind in the world. Through research and development and global intellectual partnerships, we have developed techniques and tooling to virtually eliminate distortion in most curved and bent sections. Our technologies include 3 and 4 roll pyramid rolling, draw bending, mandrel rolling and bending, conventional and progressive brake bending and stretch bending and forming.
Capacity
Kubes is the largest provider of structural and section rolling services in Canada. Our capacity ranges from North America’s smallest and most accurate to structural sections up to 40″ in depth and tubular products such as pipe up to 42″ in diameter. Any order, any size; we treat every application with the same critical importance. Kubes products and services have been incorporated in many of North America’s most impressive projects.

Rolling, Forming & Bending Projects:
Kubes Steel custom fabricated this large steel cylinder, also known as a “Shell” for use in a Rotary Drum Dryer. Inside the shell, “Flights” are welded to the sides which ensure even movement and drying of material.
At Kubes Steel, induction bending is one of our specialties. Our skilled operator performed the induction bending service on these thick stainless steel pipe sections. Due to the thickness, careful preparation had to be taken to ensure a proper bend without damaging the pieces.
Kubes Steel custom fabricated this split holding tank in 2 halves, including custom made pipe to connect the tank.
Kubes Steel formed these square steel tubes into this custom shape requested by the customer.
This combustion tube was custom fabricated by Kubes Steel to strict tolerances. The tube is 26′ long with the shape held at a diameter of 77″ on each end. Made of mild steel, the tube will be coated with a ceramic lining before going into service.
Kubes Steel is your one stop shop for fabrication. We provided all the services needed to fabricate this 30 ton heavy industrial lift ring, including connector fittings, cold bending and welding. All pieces are load tested in the shop and will be delivered to the customer ready to assemble.
Kubes Steel can fabricate a wide range of products, large and small. We recently formed these customized corrugated 3/8″ thick stainless steel sections which will be used for a marine break water.
These rings are part of a heavy duty underground conduit system. Kubes Steel bends and fabricates these rings complete, and to stringent tolerances. Kubes Steel is a one-stop-shop provider for jobs like these. Give us the drawings and we deliver the finished pieces.
At Kubes Steel, custom fabrication is our specialty. We can make almost anything you can imagine. Our wide range of equipment enabled our skilled operators to fabricate this Gas Flare Stack completely in-house, including delivery of the finished piece.
These spiraled staircase stringers are custom fabricated by Kubes Steel. We roll and assemble them in our shop and ship direct to site.
