Kubes Steel was contracted to build the track for the latest roller coaster for Canada's Wonderland. Kubes Steel fabricated a series of draft tube liners (also known as penstocks) for the Cannelton Hydroelectric project located on the Ohio River. Each assembled section is 30 feet in diameter and 60 feet long. When completed, water from the Ohio River will be directed through the penstocks to the turbines, which will turn generators and produce approximately 88 Megawatts of electricity. The project adjoins the existing Cannelton Locks and Dam in Kentucky.
Kubes Steel supplied the rolled pipe for the St. Patrick's Bridge project. The St. Patrick's bridge is a 184 metre long cable stayed bridge conforming to AESS standards. It is a key part of the revitalization of St. Patricks Island in Calgary, AB.
