The new Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Subway station currently under construction features rolled beams and plate from Kubes Steel.  The new station will connect to the TTC Line 1 Yonge-University subway line, making it possible to get to York University from the station in 7 minutes, and Union Station downtown Toronto in 45 minutes!  The new station, part of the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre will bring Vaughan's new downtown to life!

Kubes Steel rolled HSS for the outside of this GO Station parking garage in Mississauga, Ontario.

The new arches of the Burgoyne Bridge erected in St Catharines Ontario features 30" steel pipes that were bent by Kubes Steel.

Fabrication of the top of a 930 ft. elevator shaft reline (92 shells x 14’ – 6’’ dia. x 10 ft. long.)  Starting from the bottom the shells are more heavily constructed and as we get nearer the surface the shell thickness lessens as do the number of external stiffener rings. The average weight per shell thru the first 30 has been about 46,000 lbs.

2D Induction Bending HSS (Hollow Structural Section) at Kubes Steel.  4" x 4" section with a 3/8" wall.  Bent to a 45° Arc. with a 3150 mm Radius.

Kubes Steel was a contractor for the curved feature for the new U.S. Embassy in London, UK.  The aluminum used was extruded, cast or fabricated.  The head mounts on the roof that the structure hangs from are carbon steel rolled on Kubes Steel's Roundo R13 and also bent on the Kubes Induction Bender.  All fasteners are made from stainless steel.
